Mom

Here's one of my Mom -- in honor of Mother's Day! I cobbled it together from a black and white photo my father took with my vague memory of a wall pattern we grew up with.

Dad

Sorry it's been so long since last post, but I was busy okay? This is one I did of my Dad. It shows him in the old days in his dark room surrounded by pictures he took.

Sigur Ros

I guess I consider this painting ALMOST finished. There's a lot of characters so it takes longer than usual. And I'm learning that I don't like painting such tiny people with shaky hand. This one's a tribute to another of my fave bands - Sigur Ros from Iceland, a country that's supposed to have the greatest public educational system in the world.

Happy Home

Here's one of the first ones I did that seemed to strike a chord as being the "my style" that I was looking for. Tweaked yet realistic characters in a crooked yet believable universe. Painted in my parents' garage on the first summer after graduating art school.

Writers Strike

Here's a drawing I did during the writer's strike, expressing many of our feelings about the Producers. Here the strike is portrayed using Family Guy characters dressed in "Empire Strikes Back" mode - the sequel I'm currently directing.
